The Dwarfskill Preserve is  a 575-acre private wooded retreat with a Lodge, Cottage and Cabin available for short-term rental individually or as a group. 

Exceptionally private, with abundant wildlife, foraging, hiking trails, a waterfall and a mile of Class A trout stream. Located just 75 miles from New York City, in the Upper Delaware River Valley, near the charming historic village of Milford, Pennsylvania.

Nearby attractions include the 70,000-acre Delaware Water Gap National Park,  Grey Towers National Historic Site, The Columns Museum (with its famous relic, a blood-stained flag that cushioned President Lincoln’s head moments after he was assassinated), farmers markets, galleries and boutiques in Milford’s National Historic District, a network of waterfalls and other nearby attractions and activities.

Three separate accommodations—a 4 bedroom Lodge, 2 bedroom Cottage, and 1 room Cabin—each with its own rustic personality and peacefulness.  You are welcome to reserve one, two, or all three and you’ll have the whole place to yourselves!

All the beds are Queen size and dressed with Frette linens. The baths feature plush Frette bath towels and Moulton & Brown hair and skin amenities. Robust WiFi and firewood are also included with your stay. Each accommodation has its own private outdoor firepit and grill. The Lodge and Cabin)feature fieldstone fireplaces indoors. The Cottage includes a woodstove.

  • The Lodge: Four bedrooms, a beautiful fieldstone fireplace in the Great Room with a cathedral ceiling, and open dining space. The deck and screened-in porch overlooks a cascade of small waterfalls and the swimming pond. Fall asleep to the sounds of rushing water and wake up to birdsong. Two of the bedrooms have in-room sinks, one has a television with cable and there is one shared full bath. The Lodge also features a full kitchen. The Lodge features its original 1930s pine walls for rustic beauty. It is glamping at its best.

  • The Cottage: Two bedrooms, one full bath with knotty-pine paneling, and a cozy wood stove in the kitchen/living area. The Cottage also has a screened-in porch and a large open backyard, with a picnic table, fire pit, and a grill. It’s the perfect spot for stargazing.

  • The Cabin: A sweet one-room cabin, with a fieldstone fireplace, facing the queen size bed. Nicknamed The Love Shack, the cabin also includes a small kitchenette and bath with a shower add to the quaintness of about 550 square feet. The Cabin also includes a private firepit and bbq outside.
